About Lynda Keech
After a long and successful career as a music educator, I have finally been able to turn my passionate interest in photography into a second profession. This interest began after my in-law's destination-anniversary to Alaska, and prompted my first amazing DSLR camera purchase. Until then, I had filled countless albums with hundreds of photos over the years. My husband is thrilled that I went digital, as we were running out of space to store them. I like to think I caught the photography bug from my mom, as I have recently acquired bins of meticulously catalogued photos detailing my entire childhood. It is a tremendous pictorial representation, and one of the main reasons I would love to assist you in telling your story. Singles, couples, families, students, kids, weddings, landscapes, and all combinations are my interest. Love is love, and I welcome and look forward to all inquiries.
As I am originally from the Pittsburgh area, I am a true yinzer at heart n'nat, lived in Southern Maryland, and now reside in the beautiful Mid-Hudson Valley, New York, with my wonderful, amazing husband. We are a terrific team, as you will learn, when you work with us. Don’t be surprised if we carry on an entire conversation using movie quotes. We frequently try to out-do each other to see how long we can keep the conversation going.
I have been super fortunate to have acquired an amazing mentor through photography classes at Dutchess Community College, and SUNY Ulster. I continue to attend specialty classes/shoots to further my education in becoming the best photographer that I can. I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America, Canon Professional Services, Mid-Hudson Photography Club, East Fishkill Photography Club, and West Point Band Photo Club.
I’d love to work with you to create lasting memories through creative photography. I especially love on-location shoots. Message me for further information about pricing and scheduling a session.
